Oh, I can highly recommend them now! The pieces were all lovely and smooth and fit very well together, and the hardware (little brass handles etc) was fine and detailed. The only negative thing about the kit was that it called for a pin vise to make holes for the little hardware. Why didn't they drill the holes before selling the kit? I was unable to find a pin vise anywhere in town, so I ended up doing my own unorthodox and complicated thing which worked fine anyway. But that's a weird and highly specific absolute-necessity-but-not-included-in-the-kit sort of tool.
