Not well-known to me, but the Prairie District has become well known in the last decade. You know the lyric "the south side of Chicago is baddest part of town"? Well, long ago, just south of downtown Chicago was a posh area, with big mansions. Then it went downhill. Recently, it's been undergoing gentrification. In the process, some of these great old houses have been preserved/restored. There's about of block of them that are the heart of the district, and I think that's one of them.
