a bridge over troubled cello

I found the missing cello bridge.  It was only inches away from where it got lost on the sofa, lying there in plain view, even though I'd looked ALL over the sofa and the cushions and the slipcover.  I don't know where it's been all this time.  Hmph.

Perhaps the spirit of mischievous Stephen in a playful mood took off with it and hid it from you. *g* Or more likely Jack I should think, but you never know about Stephen he is a deep old file. *g*

Hooray! This proves that the evil fairies who hide small lost things can relent occasionally. I was having flashbacks to when I wore hard contact lenses and every now and then had to very slowly and carefully take the bathroom apart looking for a lost one.

Stephen Poppet probably ran off with it just to vex you.

It's been in the same place where the TV remote, car keys and other essential items hide when you need them! I think they do it on purpose you know! :)

Now I have had Simon and Garfunkel songs stuck in my head all day!

Hee. That happens to me sometimes. I spent a week looking for a blank shadow box I knew I had (it was one of several, and I had all the others), before finally giving up and buying another. And then, of course, I found the darn thing pretty much right where I'd left it.

Well now you have a spare!

Returned

Obviously, the little people under your floors had no use for a cello bridge, so they returned it.
