I'm famous again!!!

I've just been informed by a friendly visitor Josje that my Aubrey-Maturin miniatures are featured on her blog, Josje's Poppenhuis!!!  Her blog is so beautiful and full of such wonderful pictures that I feel humbled to be mentioned there so kindly!

Dank u zeer, Josje!

PS - I love the word Poppenhuis.

Last night I dreamed about dollhouses, which is rather unusual.  I dreamed I was trying to finish the construction of an attic room with impossible angles and mitering and bits of molding that wouldn't quite fit, and pieces that kept falling off before the glue was dry, and argh!  It was so realistic.

Graag gedaan!

Thank you ! Your miniatures are delightful, more people should enjoy them. It was Elsbeth, a fellow miniaturist, who told me about your site. She doesn't have a website so I featured your miniatures on my blog.

It is a lovely word 'Poppenhuis', and a little alliteration can't be bad: Poppy's Poppenhuis, or Poppenhuis Poppy if one prefers.

I wonder what Freud would have to say about that dream, some deeply rooted anxiety over something in your life not going the way you want it to...

Josje.

I wonder how Elspeth found me! How mysterious and exciting. :D

Hmm, you're probably right about the dream. I haven't even been working on those sorts of things lately (the fiddly mitering in awkward corners etc.) Oh well, better than the usual kind of stress dreams. At least I was working on something I like!

Your blog is so beautiful and so full of wonders!

Hi! I just read this...and I am afraid it will remain a bit of a mystery since I cannot remember how I found your site. I think it was when I had stumbled onto the Tiny Things'Journal, but do not ask me how I got there. It must have been while surfing and clicking on link after link but I am not sure about it. I just love your eye for detail and hope we will soon see more of your work here.

regards,
Elsbeth
