sea chests

nid_dabeilleI've been making sea chests!
A couple of full sized sea chests with rope beckets.
This one's a little smaller, like a carpenter's tool chest or a seaman's ditty box for small things.
As is this one, which has a canted front. This one surprised me by becoming my favorite. I think it's the distressed paint. It reminds me of our family cottage in the mountains where we used to go to every summer. It was a very rickety old place, but I had so much fun there. The outside walls were this same green.
