Now I'm just giddy with dollhousey stuff.  I've always loved dollhouses, but the obsessiveness comes and goes in waves.  Anyway...

Look at this little Bag End dollhouse!

And look, [personal profile] sharpiefanThis site has lots of fabulous houses for sale.  Look at that authentic Suffolk thatched cottage!  Wouldn't that be nice for your Mister Cotton?  Or the Tudor cottage from 02-08-06 here.  Or one of the two versions of the fisherman's cottage on this page?  I'm planning to live vicariously through you and your cottage dreams, you know!  At least until I get my own cottage, someday.

And by the way, now I'm also dreaming of making a roombox or tiny house based on the Antarctic explorers' huts, (like this.  That picture is my desktop wallpaper, by the way.  I love it.)

Just looking at all the pictures of the marvelous dollhouses makes me giddy and giggly. :D  But how strange that so many people are selling their nice houses!  Looking through the older pages is nice too.  Sigh.  I miss my house.

Can you get your tiny Explorer!Socks to stink? :-D

Have you heard about this book? Here's an ancient post of mine about it. (http://cionaudha.livejournal.com/7020.html#cutid1)

GAH, that's remarkable. So remarkable that I must go fetch my "that's remarkable" Stephen icon before I can continue talking about it. o_o

Here we go.

Wow. So amazing. I've added it to my memories.

So many reasons to love you...

How are you doing, by the way? You know, all of my flist is as sweet as can be, sweet and chewy and gooey. But since you post less frequently than others, and since I always feel so happy to see your comments, you are the CHOCOLATE CHIPS of my delicious flist cookie.

Or... you are the flightless cormorant of my Galapagos. Or in my extravagant diamond necklace, you are the Blue Peter. In my whole apothecary cabinet, you are the laudanum. *hugs*

Haha, I can probably find a way to make the socks stink... I'll build a secret compartment under the floorboards and insert a REAL stinking sock, or a piece of damp rotting reindeer skin.

Can I link other people to it, in one of my posts about miniatures?

Every time you mention dollhouses, I always end up looking and making sad, sad cooing noises. :P

I do own one, now sitting on the shelf over the washer and dryer at my parents' house. It was a gift and never was my favorite, because all my furniture was 1/2" scale and it's a 1" scale house. That is just not right.

I've always wanted a proper "small" house. So don't encourage me too much.
